2 pianos/4 hands
Edited by Paul Badura-Skoda. This edition: Urtext.
Two-piano score
Format: Reduction
The gestation period of Brahms' first concerto for piano lasted for over seventeen years. Now of course an integral and permanent part of the repertory, it surprisingly did not find initial favor with music critics of the time. This new edition is based on a previous edition by Johannes Gerdes and has been revised on the basis of additional source material.
