Lyadov: Preludes, Trifles and Other Pieces

Piano - Grades 5-7
Composed by Anatoly Konstantinovich Liadov. Edited by L. Salter. Easier Piano Pieces. Sheet Music.

Anatol Lyadov (1855-1914) was a Russian composer conductor teacher and collector and arranger of folksongs. Although he wrote few large-scale works, he did compose numerous piano miniatures. Many of which are imbued with a quiet melancholy; while others offer a revealing vein of delicate humour and abound in lyrical charm. Eighteen of these are collected in this album to provide varied moderate to difficult repertoire for the pianist.
